I really was not looking forward to watching "Moonlight" on CBS Friday night but I felt it was my duty as a fan boy to watch an "Angel" rip-off just to have the right to say "I told you so" when it completely flops halfway through the season. I set my DVR to record and eventually found time later the next day to sit and watch it (I like pretending I have better things to do then watch TV but who am I kidding). The show was horrible and would you like to know why? Well I'll tell you...it had a predictably simple storyline with even worse dialogue and horrible acting. The one aspect I thought could make this show worth putting up with one episode for was the return of Logan Echols to television, but alas, I was wrong. I was embarrassed by Jason Dohring's performance because you can definitely tell that he can't pull off the "bad boy" image without the right script. Don't get me started on this show's vampire mythos. I understand how it has to seperate itself from the all holy Whedon vampires but this was just flat out insulting. No weakness to garlic, very little sensativity to sunlight, and you've got to be kidding me about wooden stakes having no effect. By the way, colored contact lenses and simple stick on fangs do not make for a believable vampire. Here is my final word...Skip this show completely!

It wasn't that bad, just a little boring. Jason Dohring is still hot. Maybe it'll get better after a few eps?
Damn, I hate when you're right about Logan.
This is to Henry,
A person with your type of personality really gets under my skin. I can't believe people like you actually think your opinion matters to someone. You pretend to be some kind of expert on how things should be done when it comes to the topic of vampires. (and I'm sure a lot of other things in life). Someone comes up with a plot which, admittedly is not unique or original, but they tried to make it their own by changing some of the old myths and legends, in a attempt to freshen things up. You get so wrapped up in your sorry little world, thinking that going against these old myths and legends is some sort of insult. Who cares!! Your opinion is just that, your opinion. Everyone is entitled to their own. But when people like you start to believe that people value their opinion, is when boards like this should block you out. You become some sort of self proclaimed expert on whats good, and not good. The writer of this show may not be up to your pre pubescent standards, but he has a show on CBS, and has directed many movies. What do you have, your stupid comments, and your collection of Angel posters on your bedroom wall. Grow up, your opinion means nothing to normal people, and you don't know too much anyways. You are not a critic, you are by no means a vampire expert or an expert of any kind. And you have no idea what exists in this world, just because you've read some books you think you know? Well you have no clue.......
Oh,
one more thing Henry! When you are talking about "something" or someone, and you know in your heart that you are lying, or are wrong, or that maybe you are insulting something you shouldn't be.....just because you think you are by yourself...doesn't mean SOMEbody can't hear you!!!
No need to reply to my comments, you won't hear from me again!
Time for bed.
